Presentation:
Media Preservation and Archiving at the Library of Congress
A discussion about what the LoC’s NAVCC facility can do, details on how they designed a migration plant that handles virtually all media formats and file types, and how to design a long-term media archive. This presentation was just given at the DC SMPTE conference and was well received.

Some of James' previous work includes Sr. Design Engineer at CEI, Sr. Video Engineer at Verizon Digital Media Technologies, Sr. Video Engineer at MCI, DTV Engineering Specialist at PBS, and Digital Video Engineering Specialist/Instructor at Harris/PBS DTV Express.
